2. Hosting and server log files
When you access this website, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system information) in order to deliver the website and operate it securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
3. Cookies
This website does not use cookies.
The patient testimonials shown on this page are text entered by hand by the practice, not an embedded review platform: no data processing by third parties takes place for this. They are published with the consent of the respective patients, whose names we have shortened to initials for this purpose.
The font is loaded from our own server; no data is transmitted to font providers for this.
4. Contacting us
If you call or email us, we process your information to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Please do not send health data by unencrypted email. For appointments, please use the online calendar or call us. Medical confidentiality applies.
5. Appointment booking, appointment reminders and video consultations via Doctolib
Appointments, appointment reminders and the online consultation (video consultation) are organised via Doctolib. The website itself only links to the online calendar; you leave our website only once you click through. When booking, when receiving reminders and during the video consultation, your information (e.g. name, contact details, requested appointment, and during the video consultation also health data) is processed by Doctolib. The privacy notices of Doctolib apply in addition (doctolib.de). The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR.
6. Location map and external links (route)
The overview map of our address on this page is a static image, generated once and stored on our own server, based on map data from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, openstreetmap.org/copyright, ODbL licence). It is not an interactive map; no data is transmitted to OpenStreetMap or any other third party when you load our page. The "Open route" link only takes you to Google Maps once you click it. Once you click, Google's privacy policy applies (policies.google.com/privacy).
7. Storage period, recipients, automated decisions
Server log files are deleted after 7 days. The recipient of the data is the hosting provider IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), which processes the data on servers in Germany on our behalf. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling. Providing the log file data is technically required; without it, the website cannot be delivered.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
